After visiting Roppongi this morning, Misterpiggy went to Harajuku station in the afternoon, hoping to catch a glimpse of the Japanese teenagers who dress up in costumes and hang out outside Yoyogi Park, home of the Meiji Shrine. The park entrance is also a magnet for aspiring musicians and anyone who wants to get noticed. Typically Sunday is best time for people watching, and it was not busy at all this day (Saturday).
It's quite a walk from the park entrance to the Shrine. Along the way you can view the sake keg wall. There's also a gift shop in the park where you can buy sweets and souvenirs. Once inside the grounds, the shrine is very interesting. Lots of people like to get married there.
